Background

Dr. Nelson was born in the Philippines and immigrated to US at the age of 8. Her parents were both physicians, her Dad being a surgeon and Mom a Pediatrician. She got to see up close how doctors become an integral part of patient’s families-sharing both good times and bad times. She loves the personal connection pediatrics affords! Her parents were her mentors and they demonstrated how compassionate care improves patient’s lives.

Dr. Nelson grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from Lamar High School. She attended Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Music performance (Violin). Vision

“I envision a practice where we partner with parents to improve their children’s health. Being an independent physician affords me opportunities to provide individualized, compassionate care for each of our patients. I see our practice as one that integrates current technology with a personal touch.”
